Current evidence
Two sponsor-funded Phase 3 trials in premenopausal women reported group-level differences in self-reported outcomes. Nausea, flushing and headache were reported more often in active-study groups. Earlier research used different formulations and populations.
Important limitations
The pivotal studies enrolled a narrow population, relied on participant-reported outcomes and had limited blinded follow-up. Findings cannot be generalised to other formulations, populations or a catalogue item.
